Kraków Highland is a group of Scottish Bagpipe players from all over Poland. We are a mixture of professional and amateur players. Our objective is to: promote bagpipes and scottish music/culture in Poland. Our first activity is to perform for young people who may be interested in learning to play the bagpipes and we subsidise this by giving other professional performances. We also seek to extend the places in which bagpipes and scottish music may be found and to this end we have a programme of music for mixed orchestral ensembles, including symphony orchestra, composed by our founder and leader, Dr Lindsay Davidson. We give lessons and workshops and are very happy to give other bagpipe and Scottish interest groups in Poland and central eastern europe any help we can.
